Purpose & Mission

I want to bring you happiness through art classes, held in my home. OUCH! Academy will strive to charge you with the propulsion to pursue something daring and exciting. Or perhaps just be a fun, therapeutic moment with friends.

How It Works

Art classes are held every Saturday, 11am - 12pm.

I welcome any level of commitment! Classes are set up in 6-week blocks, and you could choose to attend the entire 6-week block, or just pop in for one or two classes, or commit to come every week ongoing.

All ages and experience levels are invited! At the same time, I will be prioritizing people who are 18+ and who do not have an extensive background in art.

Every class is “pay what you can,” with a suggested $5-30 fee per class. The money will cover art supplies, snacks, and coffee!

What You’ll Do

Each class will have a different technical focus (ex: “color theory” or “observational drawing”) and all will be fun and spark imagination & creativity!

There will be little art games, show & tell, readings, riddles, and student-led activities.

We will draw in the park, draw in my backyard, draw on the streets, draw in my sunny living room with my dog.

We’ll make really realistic drawings and also loosey goosey non-representative art.

We will draw each other, draw knickknacks, masters studies, photographs of celebrities, anything you wish.
